Our 11+ group courses are now in full swing, and we’re delighted to have received wonderful feedback from students and parents alike. If you haven’t yet joined us, or would simply like a refresher, we’re adding new dates for 2024 – and expanding our offer to include preparation for the 7+ exam.
Entry to the top schools is becoming increasingly competitive, even for the younger years. Our group courses are carefully designed to reflect the latest changes in tests and expectations, combining the power of peer-to-peer learning with our nurturing, tailored approach, to create a fun and effective environment.
11+ group courses at a glance
20th – 21st January: a two-day 11+ course focused on maths, including fractions, decimals and percentages, and English – covering written comprehension and creative writing. The course is charged at £450 exc. VAT.
27th January: mock 11+ exam, held under test conditions, with papers marked and returned to parents. This can be booked as an addition to the two-day course on the 20th – 21st January, or as a standalone session, charged at £350 exc. VAT.
13th – 15th February: a three-day course covering all the major elements of the 11+. Maths will span number theory and divisibility rules, to squares, cubes, primes and factors. In English, we’ll dive deeper into comprehension and creative writing, and we’ll also focus on key verbal and non-verbal reasoning elements, including synonyms, antonyms, codes, nets and sequences. This course includes techniques for the Pretest and cognitive ability testing, and is charged at £625 exc. VAT.
16th February: mock 11+ exam, this can be booked as an addition to the three-day course on 13th – 15th February, or as a standalone session, charged at £350 exc. VAT.
7+ group courses at a glance
27th – 28th January: our two-day 7+ course covers English, focusing on description, creative writing and written comprehension, as well as plenty of maths work – including word problems, puzzles, money and time. We’ll also dedicate ourselves to verbal and non-verbal reasoning. The course is charged at £450 exc. VAT.
3rd February: mock 7+ exam. This is held under test conditions and papers will be marked and returned to parents. This can be booked as an addition to the two-day course on the 27th – 28th January, or as a standalone session, charged at £350 exc. VAT.
13th – 14th February: our second 7+ course includes two days of verbal and non-verbal reasoning, English – where we’ll spend more time on written and multiple-choice comprehension – as well as maths. Here, we’ll cover geometry, graphs, pictograms, word problems and puzzles. The course is charged at £450 exc. VAT.
15th February: mock 7+ exam, this can be booked as an addition to the two-day course on the 13th – 14th February, or taken as a standalone session, charged at £350 exc. VAT.
All of our group courses will be held in Chelsea, London. Days will run from 10am to 3pm, with plenty of short breaks in between.Courses are kept small and personal, allowing plenty of time for dedicated support and one-on-one work – which does mean places are limited.
